We will resume Liger Discovery Club in Term 3 2022, the purpose of our Discovery Club is to discover learners for our next cohort.

Enrolment is through an application process and we look for students who meet our entry criteria. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, identify, sexuality, ethnicity or beliefs.

The Liger Leadership Academy is for young people from years 8-13 who have the potential to become New Zealand’s future entrepreneurs and leaders who will contribute positively to the country and the world.

We are now taking expressions of interest for learners who will be in years 8 and 9 in 2022.

The first stage of the admissions process is to complete an ‘Expression of interest’ form (link here). One of our team will then get in touch with you to explain our criteria, timelines and process. Admission to the Discovery Club does not guarantee placement into the full Academy programme. Also, participation in the Discovery Club is not a prerequisite of admission to the Discovery Club

The admissions process includes:

Interviews with the student and their parents/caregivers

Placement assessments

Submission of supporting materials (i.e. school reports, referees)

Liger Leadership Academy operates entirely on a not for profit basis.

However, we note that financial means should not be a barrier to the right students to attend either the Liger Discovery Club or the full Liger Leadership Academy programme.

Discussions regarding scholarships will take place on a case-by-case basis for students who are offered entrance. We hope to partner with other organisations that share our vision in order to expand our scholarships programme over time and ensure our ongoing sustainability.
